Students who will live on campus
Campus residents should be ready to move in on Saturday 26 or Sunday 27 September 2026, depending on your college's arrival day, which is listed below. Your college will contact you with details about the arrangements for your arrival. When you get here you will be greeted by college staff and student Welcome Reps keen to introduce themselves and help you move in, before Welcome Week events get underway. We aim to give every new student a very warm welcome to Lancaster and make sure you feel comfortable, settled and supported.
College arrival days
- Bowland, Cartmel, Furness, Grizedale and Chancellor’s Wharf: arrive on Saturday 26 September 2026
- County, Fylde, Lonsdale and Pendle: arrive on Sunday 27 September 2026
- Graduate College: arrive on either Saturday 26 or Sunday 27 September 2026
Students who will commute to campus
Undergraduates
If you're set to commute to University rather than live on campus, then you're invited to the on Wednesday 23 September. It will include a campus tour, introduction to your college and a chance to meet other new students.
All students
All students, including those who live off campus, should then come to campus throughout Welcome Week, so you can take part in activities. Whether or not you live in your college, you are very much a member of the community and welcome at introductory events, and all the activities that will be arranged throughout your time at Lancaster.
